SAB VM Lab

Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 30, 2026

Overview

SAB VM Lab is a local-first macOS app for creating and managing virtual macOS machines on Apple silicon Macs.

Data Stored On Your Mac

SAB VM Lab stores virtual machine bundles, VM metadata, logs, selected file bookmarks, and cached restore images on your Mac so the app can create, configure, and reopen your virtual machines.

The app does not require you to create an account to use its core functionality.

Files And Folders You Choose

If you select restore images, storage locations, external SSD destinations, or shared folders, the app uses access to those files only to perform the actions you requested.

Network Use

SAB VM Lab may access the network to retrieve macOS restore image information and to download restore images needed to create a virtual machine on your Mac.

Microphone Access

If you enable guest microphone input, the app may request permission to access the Mac microphone so audio can be provided to a virtual machine. Microphone access is optional and controlled by you.

Analytics And Tracking

SAB VM Lab is designed to operate without third-party advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or account-based analytics.

If this changes in a future release, this policy and the App Store privacy details should be updated accordingly.

Support Communications

If you contact support, you may choose to send logs, screenshots, or diagnostic details manually. You control what information you send.
